Missouri Certified Work Ready Community (CWRC) Initiative

The Certified Work Ready Community (CWRC) initiative in Missouri is an effort to align workforce and education to meet the economic needs of the state and local communities. It is guided by key community leaders; elected officials, economic development, business leaders, chambers of commerce, educators and workforce development, in each county. The vision for the Certified Work Ready Communities is to attract, retain, and develop a workforce with education and fundamental skills to succeed in the 21st Century.
Jefferson and Franklin Counties have been recognized as one of the strongest Certified Work Ready Community (CWRC) workforce regions in the country. Having Certified WorkReady Communities will result in strengthening existing businesses and developing a stronger workforce for our region.
To maintain our Certified WorkReady status, employers are asked to reaffirm their support of this important initiative. The Jefferson-Franklin Employment Consortium will work in partnership with employers to maintain our Certified Work Ready Communities (CWRC) certifications and would like to THANK YOU for your support.
